They deleted certain temporary files from PC. It is working now apparently. So far, had meeting not exceeding 1hr and never faced any issue post the temporary files deletion. Unfortunately, forgot to take a snapshot of the path of the temporary files.

Have you checked if your Windows version is in S Mode? If so, then by default you cannot install any other app beside those available in Microsoft Store. But you can switch out of S mode.
